About Me
- Carver
- My original site, Carver's Sight or is that Site, was inspired by reading the blogs of people who I got to know through the Melanoma Patient's Information Page (MPIP). As time has gone on, I find myself talking as much about gardening, photography, and other random thoughts as I do about melanoma follow up. I am happy about that. I have set up an additional site, Carver Cards, which is primarily a photoblog.

Somebody is going to have some nice winter fires...
hummm It is perfect for some fire place!
Cool shot!

I was thinking the same as Rambling Woods. I can see a future for someone including roaring log fires!
Reminds me of weekends years ago that I spent helping a buddy of mine from work split wood form a ginormous red oak the power company had taken down in his yard and sectioned, but not split. We split the work and the wood, and he'd bring over a pickup load that looked pretty much like this one for me. Not a bad deal at all considering what firewood was going for at the time. (I know, it's probably worse now, but I don't have a wood fireplace anymore so I don't keep track.)
I missed my winter holiday in the Melbourne countryside where the house has a fire place. That was the first time I used a fireplace.
Ready for winter!
Love it. Looks like somebody is ready for winter! HAppy Ww
Seems appropriate, as the weather turned quite cold this week even here in California.
The orange color of the wood is quite interesting.
Looks ready for whole winter :D
My entry this week : in HERE. I hope you have time to visit. Thanks
That sure is, someone's been working hard preparing for winter!

Reminds me of stacking wood in years past ... and all the enjoyable evenings by the fire on chilly nights.
Hugs and blessings,
Small Reflections
What a great Wordless Wednesday! Hope you have a fantastic day!
Oh I miss log burning fireplaces!
that's needed to keep the fire burning on a cold night! brrrr
Firewood!
I wish I had a fireplace.. or a reason to use it! :(
