Saturday was a windy, chilly, and sunny day which turned out to be good for a walk.
This was the second time I saw a group fencing outside in the field beside the lake.
There were a lot of strong shadows that caught my eye.
The goose took its shadow for a walk.
I always like the shadows that bridges cast.

About Me
- Carver
- My original site, Carver's Sight or is that Site, was inspired by reading the blogs of people who I got to know through the Melanoma Patient's Information Page (MPIP). As time has gone on, I find myself talking as much about gardening, photography, and other random thoughts as I do about melanoma follow up. I am happy about that. I have set up an additional site, Carver Cards, which is primarily a photoblog.

It looks like a perfect day for a walk. It also looks a bit warmer there than here.
I absolutely love sharing your walks and this one reminds me of the one I'm going to post soon (honest I had it written before I saw yours ;>)....anyway, one can't take too many nature strolls along a boardwalk, right?
Beautiful shots from your part of the World.
I do love your blue skies and what a terrific place to walk!! I always enjoy the walks you share with us, Carver! The next best thing to being there!! Have a great week!
Sylvia
Interesting walk!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Not the kind of fencing i was expecting out in a field :-) [Even though I did quite a bit of this at one time].
Your walk looks very similar to mine.
That is a great day for a walk, I love the photos.
a perfect day to be out and about...you captured some wonderful sights along the way!
Thanks for your walk! Very nice for the Saturday! I wish you a very happy week.
What a lovely walk, Carver! Lovely scenery and the geese are cool too. Thanks for sharing, have a great week!
Perfect weather for long walks, lovely captures.
The leafless trees is a perfect sign of winter. And the first photo says it all. I love to take walks when air is so crisp. Talking about windy, it was windy too when we were at Red Rock Canyon.
Dear Carver,
A special set of pictures, with beautiful sunlight and shadows!
Léia
Great spot for a walk - don't see many fencing matches - outdoors too!
Carver, another great walk, I too like those long shadows.
I love the bridge photo :)
