I couldn't decide between the head shot and the full body shot so I decided to show both.

What amazed me is how perfectly the snow melted to form the cap and stole. The shot below is a color one when St. Francis almost had a top hat. I didn't touch the snow at all. This is how it fell.

That is awesome! Another one of mother natures surprises.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing for the snow to settle and melt like that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.....
Incredible Nature creation, Carver ! I think I prefer it in B&W. Hermine imitation ?
ReplyDeleteWell done.
Great shots, Carver! St. Francis will stay warm even in the freezing snow! :) My MM will be up on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteCan't help thinking there should be birds gathered around him.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you posted all 3 shots! Happy MM!
ReplyDeleteThis really is a unique image with the snow necklace. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThat couldn't have been put on any better if you put it on yourself! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to capture a shot like this one. Unique by nature.

How utterly serendipitous. You couldn't have planned that better if you'd tried.
ReplyDeleteLooks like he's wearing a mink stole and matching hat :-) Prefer the B&W for sure...
ReplyDeleteThat's simply amazing. Very nifty capture, Carver.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! How cool is that!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your statuary holds up better than mine in any case!
Cool capture (literally and figuratively!)
Fabulous and I think, for what that's worth, the mono is much more involving ...
