This house in Downtown Durham, NC seems to call out for a little love. That's not to say that my house doesn't need some major repairs but my house isn't as interesting to me as this old one. To find other participants, please visit the home of Monochrome Monday.
Now that's a house with character.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean...lol
ReplyDeleteA bit of a classic shot - the kind that is always interesting.
ReplyDeleteGood subject for monochrome though!
ReplyDeleteThose doors have a lot of charactor in them. Makes a great shot for Monochrome. Smile. B
ReplyDeleteYep, that is a beauty alright. You've captured it well.
ReplyDeleteA part of me would love to live in an old house, fix it up, etc. But then I think I wouldn't be up to all the work :-)
ReplyDeleteIt does beg to be done up. Just perfect for the mono slot.
ReplyDeleteI like the front doors! I wonder if they can be fixed.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteClassic look of monochrome..great shot.
ReplyDeleteThe details are just beautiful. I love old houses with soules. Great monochrome photo :)
ReplyDeleteI love the details in your picture, for instance, the ploor before the door that raises up.
ReplyDeleteAll details are more visible in B&W it attracts the attention.
Well-done.
I can definitely see that all gussied up. What a great door.
ReplyDelete:-)
I'll bet with a bit of sprucing up that one would be a real gem. Nice catch.
ReplyDeleteGreat front porch ... wonderful photo
ReplyDeleteLike you, I love the older houses, at least to photograph. Very nifty.
ReplyDeleteOh yes. So much detail, and it shows so much better in monochrome than with the distraction of colour.
ReplyDeletePurrfection!
ReplyDeletegosh, poor little house needs someone to love it
ReplyDeleteI saw a house on Sunday and said just the same thing! Some house cry out for it.
