They have model ships in the information center for the USS NC Memorial battleship. It was interesting seeing what the ships looked like starting with the very first ones. I didn't note any information on this one specifically.

Nice subject - very bluff bows, I wonder how it handled in a sea.
ReplyDeleteGreat subject! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week!

Love the water outside vs the boat inside.
ReplyDeleteThat is some model boat, I expect it's bigger than it looks. Great thought BJ; water on the outside, boat on the inside ;-)
ReplyDeleteStunning!
ReplyDeleteThis a perfect choice for b & w post!

What a beautiful miniature!
ReplyDeleteNice shot. The detail of those model ships is amazing. If they sat this in water it would be difficult not to tell what size it really is.
ReplyDeleteThis is great,beautiful monochrome photo!
ReplyDeleteLovely craft ship! My dad will love it!! I've seen people making those crafts... amazing!! Lots of patience needed. But the completed job is greatly appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteThe boat is fantastic. I know I am not supposed to say this, but I would like to see it in color. So many details.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot! Obviously someone put a lot of time into building that one... I never had that kind of patience for the craft.
ReplyDeleteWonderful monochrome... perfect detail and light!
ReplyDeleteThis image/subject really benefitted from a monochrone application.
ReplyDeleteHappy June Carver.
I like the contrast of the sharpness of the ship and the mistiness of the reflections on the window.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot! Beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteNice ship, looks like a classic photo.
