That's My World Tuesday: Seasonal walks at the Lake

I know I've done other my world posts with the greenway trails and lake near my house. I've also done other my world posts with the seasons.

Therefore, I guess this may be somewhat redundant but I thought I'd use photographs I haven't posted to take you on a walk through the seasons.

The first photograph was taken a few weeks ago at Shelley Lake (central NC where I live). The second one was taken at the same place in January. The shot below was taken at the same place in November.

My final shot was taken on one of the wooded trails following the creek away from the lake. I shot this one in early summer of 2008. I enjoy the dirt trails away from the main traffic the most.

To visit other parts of the world, please go to That's my World Tuesday.

  19. Really beautiful, but the seasons don't change that much in NC - it still remains green and the lake blue.
