I don't understand. I haven't seen anything like that here. You are so lucky! I've seen that type of transportation in the old country :) Is that part of the exhibition?
Thanks to everyone for visiting and I thought although I answered ellieveille on their site, I'd also answer here in case anyone else is interested. Basically I don't know why the mule and cart were there. It surprised me but I thought either it had to do with the museum or some new attraction being offered downtown. The mule sure seemed laid back about pulling the cart downtown. I didn't think about the bow but maybe it was part of a wedding or something else.
Yep! You are right - it is a service - $10 ride through Downtown - they also give them for rent for weddings. Very funny - The history museum was the perfect place to shoot one ! Great info!

Hi Carver, i jus discovered how making pics in monochrome spices up the effects of a pic :) It is fun.
ReplyDeleteThat must be living history indeed. A nice composition.
ReplyDeleteThat was lucky - something to do with the museum, no doubt. A fine looking mule.

ReplyDeleteIt is amazing. The cart has a white bow - looks like an old time gypsy wedding on the Balkans - just not something I've seen here! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteMy husband's comment - Cabriolet! :)
ReplyDeleteMay be it is a new business and we can take carriage rides now :)

ReplyDeleteI don't get to see mule (or even horses) and carriages often in my part of the world! I like this shot.
