Last week I showed you the sun setting behind the mountains. This week I thought I'd show you the Blue Ridge mountains I shot, shortly before sunset while my daughter drove.
I found it interesting how the clouds looked so blue after we got closer to the mountains. It's almost hard to tell where the mountain ends and the cloud begins.

Oh I find that riding shotgun is the best way to skywatch. Pretty nice shots Carver.

ReplyDeleteOh, I agree with Photo Cache as far as riding shotgun! I did a lot of that last week when my kids were here! These are magnificent shots, Carver, as always. So much beauty, so little time -- to see/catch it all!

These are gorgeous. I think my favorite mountain pictures are when you can see the layers like this. I have wanted to duplicate such scenes in paper, but have never sat down to do it.
