Normally I try to choose one shot for Skywatch Friday. This week I'm making an exception for the feather boa let loose on the sky. These shots were all taken during about fifteen minutes on March 5, walking around my neighborhood.
The sky was a vibrant blue and the feather boa fluttered and stretched and roamed the sky.
I don't know when I've seen anything quite like it. The more I walked and looked up the more it took on a life of its own.
I love this time of year when the sky is the bluest of blue and anything against it stands out so well.
Blue skies are still a treat because most weeks we are continuing with as many or more rainy days than sunny ones.
I think blue skies are enhanced when something like a feather boa is tossed across it.
I guess I'll end with a couple more shots although I'm still not sure if this post includes my favorites.
Kind of hard to choose photos when the sky puts on a never ending show. That's why I usually only post one for sky watch because each week I take so many sky shots.
For other skies across the world please visit the home of SkyWatch Friday.

Thank you and an interesting question about what music I'd choose. I think I'd probably go with part of Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

These are AMAZING clouds! I'm speechless. . .except to say that your did a great job!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you did not limit it to just one shot. It would have been criminal to withhold all that beauty from the rest of us. That feather boa was certainly leading your on and understandably irresistible. How many did you take in all. My beat total for a single sunrise up to now has been 144.
