Note- I just saw that this theme has a new name - The Weekend in Black and White which Dragonstar is graciously keeping going. Thank you to Dragonstar.
I didn't have time to park and compose the shot as I was running errands. This caught my eye in a shopping area and no one was behind me so I rolled down my window and took a quick snap. I think it turned out o.k. but is obviously taken on the run.Visit the home of The Weekend in Black and White for more participants.
No apologies necessary, its a good shot/composition!
ReplyDeleteNice grouping...Great shot
ReplyDeleteAdorable composition.I love benches and clocks and you took both in this picture!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful in b&w!
Happy weekend sweet Carver

Welcome Carver!
ReplyDeleteI wish my shot-on-the-run pictures turned out this well. A fine bench and clock - and reflections in the windows too. You have a good eye.
This is a nice shot, I like the bench & clock. Very good for an on-the-go capture.
ReplyDeleteYou got lucky and captured a great one! I love the clock and the brick...perfect in monochrome!
ReplyDeleteObviously a place it would be nice to sit down and hope the large watch has stopped.
ReplyDeleteI could sit there, quite contented... ;)
ReplyDeleteNice monochrome. Beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteThe image may have been taken on the run but the quality of the Black and White is superb. Great contrast and tonal range.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's a great shot...
ReplyDeleteAll are perfect together :)
Great spontaneous mono shot, Carver!
ReplyDeleteKisses from Nydia.
As others have said it's a good on-the-run shot and I like the bench and clock as the subjects. I also like the fact that you can see a little of the car window. It adds to the composition and the theme of on the run.
ReplyDeletethe touch of that post tower clock is great makes it look so classic
ReplyDeletethe sign says NO photography? LOL very nice B & W.
ReplyDeleteVery good for a quick shot.
ReplyDeleteI like that clock :)
ReplyDeleteNice! Wish you a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat catch on the run! The clock and the bench are beautiful. What a lovely place.
ReplyDeleteI like it, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat mono and reflections!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly where that is! My oldest son is a manager with Panera, and was at that location for ages before he moved out to the one on Capital Blvd. I've shot that very same clock and bench from (several) different angles. Excellent choice, and nicely executed -- drive by or no drive by!
