I have been meaning to give ABC Wednesday a whirl for years and I finally made it in almost on time. I will be starting a week late for Round 7 but I am able to combine A and B with the Ampelopsis brevipedunculata berries below. The common name is porcelain berry.

My mouth's not big enough to pronounce all that, but I love the photo!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a tongue twister! lovely berries.
ReplyDeleteB is for blooms

ReplyDeleteLovely picture - that's a long name to spell ...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful berries, terrific photo! Love the colors and the water on the leaves and what a tongue twister for a name indeed! Enjoy your day, Carver!

ReplyDeleteWhat a huge word for such tiny berries.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture with the dropletts on them.
Smart thinking! And they are just beautiful! I wonder if you can eat them.....?

Such beautiful colors and light...The berries look wonderful, especially with the water drops on them.
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for visiting. The berries are edible but bland according to what I've read. I haven't tried them but the birds love them.

That is one of my favorite plants! I have one that's about 12 years old and am happy to know the berries are edible. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderfully decorative berries!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful fruit, no wonder the birds like them.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love those blue coloured berries. You don't often see them that bright!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot, even though I can't pronounce the words! Welcome to the game.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo! I have never seen such coloured berries. This is a new thing I learnt today!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Tough word to be assigned in a spelling match! :) Beautiful photo - the berries resemble blueberries.
ReplyDeleteHow refreshingly promising. Thank you for this nice escape, and if only in thoughts. Please have a great Wednesday.

The two colors go so beautifully together! Who would have thought that nature could do that all on its own?
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful blushing ball-shaped berries! Bonza!
ReplyDeleteLooks a little like a blueberry.
ReplyDeleteSeveral Artist on my Art Blog had been giving their rendition of a photograph of blueberries.
Your photo is lovely.
Beautiful berries, and such Brilliant colours.
ReplyDeleteI was never good in spelling, and I was never selected to the spelling bee.
ReplyDeleteI can't even pronounce your two words.
I just call them berries?
what a fantastic color.
ReplyDeleteWow Carver! Those blueberries are great. We have a few bushes and they are great to have in the yard. They are pretty and they are edible!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're doing ABC Wed. Plus, you landed the FIRST spot!
Lovely berries, first time see that, are they edible?
ReplyDeleteI like the color and looks nice to eat, like berries.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful the berry is which is perfect for "B" thank you :)
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, but seems they are a vigorous ornamental invader. I suppose they are not poisonous since birds and animals help them to spread but don't seem necessarily to be edible either, but as long as they won't give me a rash I wouldn't mind seeing these along my fence... the berries are really pretty.
ReplyDeletethe berries look delicious. i'll pass on trying to say those two words really fast though. hope you had a great day.
ReplyDeleteGreat, But can you say:
ReplyDelete"Adolphous Bartholomew Ate Basically A Bushel of Ampelopsis brevipedunculata At Bedtime All By Himself"
Ten times really fast?
That's OK, neither can I!
It's great to see you join us this round. Your picture is wonderful, I can't wait to go research them and learn more about such Beautiful Berries.
Hope to see you next week
