If train A leaves Chicago traveling 100MPH and train B leaves New York traveling 150MPH and the distance between the two cites is 600 miles how far from New York will it be when the two trains meet?
What the other dove answers with:
The two trains close at a speed of 100+150 mph=250mph. At 250mi/h they will meet after 600mi/250mi/h 2.4 h. At a speed of 150mi/h the train leaving New York will cover (2.4h)(150mi/h)=360mi and the train leaving Chicago will cover 240mi.
Maybe they one is trying to talk the other out of doing something it shouldn't? ;) That's too funny. Bambi tried to commit suicide the other week using my car as it's weapon of choice.... The animals have gone nuts!
