ABC Wednesday: E is for Eliot Evans Emory

E is for Eliot, Evans, and Emory. George Eliot was the pen name for the author whose birth name was Mary Anne Evans.abc wed e eliot bks IMG_3004
The sea shells beside the George Eliot novel below were brought to me by a friend who found them on the beach and her last name is Emory.

For other participants take on the letter E, please visit the home of ABC Wednesday.

I just found out that the kind ABC Team
chose my post from last week (D is for Durham) as the blog of note for week 4. Note - my thank you below has strange spacing I can't seem to fix. Apparently adding the note has done something with the html and fixing it is beyond my abilities.
I am honored to be chosen for this award, particularly since there were so many creative posts on the letter D. I am enjoying participating in ABC Wednesday, for the first time, so much. Thanks to Mrs. Nesbitt for starting this fun meme and for the expanding ABC Wednesday Team who help to keep it running so smoothly.

  15. Great take on the letter E. I haven't ready enough of the classic literature, that's something I intend to fix over the next few years.

  22. It seemed many writers in the past had chosen to use pen names, sometimes people mistaken them for being males. As in the movie on Mim's Island. Thanks for bringing up the subject. :-)

Thank you so much for your comments. I read and appreciate any and all comments. If I delete a comment it is only because I'm trying to deal with a lot of spam. If I delete a comment which isn't spam, it's an accident so please accept my apology.

NOTE - I have recently had issues where some comments don't show up in my blog but I am receiving all of them through email. The blooger hiccup seems to be fixed but I'm going to leave this note up so I don't jinx it.
