SkyWatch Friday: Flying in the clouds

  20. Shelley Lake in September. Does it get better? Okay, yeah, Carolina Beach in September. Alright, any beach anytime of year. But you get my point.

  21. Thanks to everyone for visiting and I'm not sure but for those asking, I think the bird was a gull. It was pretty far away and there aren't usually many gulls at this lake this time of year (mostly geese, ducks, great blue herons and a few others) but there are gulls later in autumn and I think that's what it was (an early gull).
