SkyWatch Friday: Sepckled Sky


I was so entranced by the sky when I looked out my window that I immediately started shooting. I wish I could have shot it from a wide open field or coastline rather than an area surrounded by trees because I didn't get the full affect but it was pretty amazing how every bit of sky was covered in these cotton ball clouds.

    I love skies like this, and I think the trees add a nice touch to the picture. I call it a marshmellow sky.

    I think you got a better shot because of the trees. They are lovely, and so are the fluffy clouds.

    beautiful no matter where you captured it...its one of my dissapointments to always see the sunset everyday but no chance to shoot it in a nice wide open beach or farm so i just patiently shooting by my window or roof top always lol!

    Before I read down your post to the words “cotton ball,” I was already thinking the clouds looked exactly like cotton balls. I like the tree under them....they almost look like they are touching each other. Kudos on a great shot!

    Cotton balls is the perfect description, and it makes a lovely photo. I like the trees on the edges for contrast.

    I gave my 6 year old studnets a paint brush and they dabbed your sky with those cotton wool clouds. LOl
