ABC Wednesday: Q is for Quaint

The ice cream stand is quaint or possibly Qtsy. Although cutesy is spelled with a c it sounds like Qtsy.

I've lived long enough for the signs of my youth to become quaint.

I remember when Esso signs were common before they were changed to Exxon in my part of the U.S. Now an Esso sign or an old RC Cola sign look quaint.

  8. It's funny how the ordinary things of life take on a different, more attractive patina as we grow older. I love the ice cream house and the signs are indeed quaint.

  12. Carver, I love the word Qtsy! May I use it?
I remember when Esso meant S.O. for Standard Oil.
I remember Royal Crown Cola, which became RC Cola, which didn't sound nearly as nice.
I think I'm becoming Quaint myself. I know I'm not as Quick as I used to be, nor as Qte.
