The Weekend in Black and White: Uprooted

This was a sizable tree I spotted on the banks of the lake. It was starting to look like driftwood but it would take a lot of force to move it.

  8. On all of our hikes, I am shooting fallen trees and looking for imaginary images in the decaying wood. These types of shots really fascinate me. This one is so sharp with perfect lighting setting off the texture of the wood. It does have the appearance of driftwood.
