Last fall I shot these barns, and in some cases I shot them through blurry windows.
I love barns and when I'm on road trips I am on the lookout for barns to shoot.
The first two shots each have multiple barns in close proximity.
I love old barns with rusty tin roofs.

Oh how I love barns too. It seems I never get very good pictures of them. They usually are in a place I can't stop to photograph. I have been frustrated so many times. I guess I have to take mental photos instead.
ReplyDeletethe next to last one is, IMO, the best
ReplyDeleteI like photos of old barns also. They all have their own characters.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy photographing barns, too, sometimes in colour and sometimes in black and white. They do make a fascinating subject! Love your photos! Have a great week,

There is something majestic, even in an old barn, falling down, or rusted...it a beauty all its own.
ReplyDeleteThere is something magical in the aura of old barns. I, too, have numerous shots of the local barns but none as spectacular as yours.
ReplyDeleteI like the Barn concept for 'B', great collection.

ReplyDeletelove barns, I got some barn photos, but I forgot to post them.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have a barn dance, please invite me.
I almost chose to post barns also. Have camera, will take photos of barns. I should have grown up on a farm.
ReplyDeleteWonderful barns, Carver. I like the second photo, a traditional autumn scene, but there's something about the last one, with all the produce, that I like, too.

Carver....Thanks for the barn series. I have been fascinated with them for the 30 years we’ve lived here in rural Virginia. They are all so different. I’ve taken many pictures of them on my rides around the county, and one of these days I will have to do a series myself. The variation of color, style and condition of these barns is so interesting. Loved the post.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful old barns! I love old buildings like that.
ReplyDeleteThe red one and the rusty roof one are my favs :)
I love barns and the countryside they reside in and your photographs capture both so well!
