Someone gave me the book Zen and the art of the Internet almost 20 years ago which makes it ancient history in internet terms.
The first time I saw this cat at the NC Botanical Garden at UNC I thought there was something rather zen about him.
Then zooming ahead to exactly one year later when I saw him at almost the same spot in the garden, lying down, I thought it was a little spooky.
A little later he let me know he let me know he was capable of zeal when attacking an itch.

You made me smile today! What a wonderful ending to Round 7! Look foward to seeing you in Round 8. :D
ReplyDeleteI remember reading Zen and the art of the motorcycle, and like how Zen can be attached to any activity, - even blogging.
ReplyDeleteCats and kangaroos are masters of Zen.
ReplyDeleteMade me smile and fun shots of the cat
ReplyDelete=(^.^)=
Yes you did, and in good fashion too. Love the cat pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute cat. I had to chuckle at his cute antics.
ReplyDeleteWell done! That cat is definitely Zen-ish.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever Zen post. And the cat shots are great. He...or she looks like a calm and serene feline who loves life. I, too, got a big smile from this post. G
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Carver. Zipeedeedoodah and congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThe cat is a real Zen animal!! He is a philosopher.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
I like the Botanical Gardens cat, Carver.
ReplyDeleteI'm so old I remember "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" but I never had a motorcycle. Zen and the internet might have been a bigger help.
Thanks for an interesting post (everything is better with a cat in it).

ReplyDeleteZen: last night I was apprentice celebrity, they wanted to design a Zen look.
ReplyDeleteZipeedeedoodah! great word
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that book, but it must be fun to read. A zen cat, to be sure!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how cats do that? I have two photos of a cat in Hawaii taken a year apart sitting on exactly the same step as the year before.
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable, so nice to see your pictures!
ReplyDeleteI think we could learn about to be zen with our kitties! :)
Luna is very calm!
