Oh my goodness, Carver ~~ those exact clouds were in my back yard today. I took a picture to use in a week to come since I was using my Pastor's sky this time.
Now, everytime I see this photo of you, I will think of your trilogy series. I agree with you...the trees in winter against the skies are gorgeous and impossible not to stop and photograph. Beautiful capture. Genie

Blue skies are a treat, and the white clouds contrasting with the dark branches make an interesting design in the sky.
