A gaggle of geese and gulls are harassed by wee ghastly goons.
A gray goose (right hand side below) rises to its full height and becomes garrulous with its great groans and gesticulates at wee goon.

Disclaimer - I'm writing from the perspective of the animals being chased which is silly, of course, but from my perspective I'm sure the children are sweet little darlings. To tell you the truth, my biggest concern is the children will hurt themselves running with sticks. I have complete confidence in the geese and gulls ability to fend for themselves.
Gorgeous!! love the geese and gulls! it sure looks like the kids are having fun :)
ReplyDeleteG is for...
Kids, sun, beach, lovely energy from these critters, perfect choice!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love for this scenery!

Beautiful shots, Carver. Yes, I'd be more worried about the children than about the geese, who can certainly defend themselves.

I use to tell children not to chase birds if I see they do.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I am too much teacher even as retired ;)
The photos are lovely, I agree the birds will fend for themselves, but the children may get a scare if the geese attack them. Great choice for G day.
ReplyDeleteYou made me GIGGLE, Carver. Thanks, I needed that! :))
ReplyDeleteAny post with animals is a winner with me!

Great to see so many birds together.A few weeks ago we went for a walk and we were surrounded by coots, mallards and swans. They were very hungry and I was sorry not to have taken some bread with me.
ReplyDeletegosh Carver, that is one gorgeous gaggle! a beautiful photograph and contribution to ABCW!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful collection of Gs, and great photographs of the birds!
ReplyDeleteBut sweet as the wee ghostly goons may be, I do hope they get over this stage soon...:)

I love the running swan in the last photo, he looks hilarious.
ReplyDeleteGreat captures! I, too, am sure the birds are capable of looking after themselves! Lots of action and interaction going on in the photos.
ReplyDeleteWe had a junkyard near us that used geese as watch animals. I tell you what, I wouldn't get out of my car with them there!

Great post for the day!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, let the kids have fun. Those birds have wings and can fly away! The kids should pay attention to the geese, though. Those critters can be nasty!
