ABC Wednesday: O is for Ominous

Last summer when I was at the beach, the sky over the ocean became increasingly overcast.

The first thing that started me investigating the sky more closely was when the seagulls began flying in an agitated manner over the cottages.

I looked in the direction they were coming from and got my first inkling of how ominous the sky looked.

It wasn't long after that before the ominous clouds began moving over the cottages and ending up over the ocean.

As I recall, the storm didn't last long and only produced a small amount of rain.

  6. WoW! What a dramatic sky!! We hardly ever see that kind of thing here. Too much sunny weather and uneventful. I guess that's good!

  11. WOW. Pictures really can tell a very dramatic story. And I agree with Roger, storms can be cool as long as everyone is safe and secure.
