The Weekend in Black and White: photo walking

I couldn't decide between these two shots for this week's black and white photos.

I took both of these photographs during the same walk. One a little busy but calm in its own way and the second is bare bones.

  1. Fabulous shots - both of them. But I do like the framing of the second one best.

  5. Such a difference between the two shots. The light is lovely in the first, and the composition of the second is so good!

  8. Both are terrific! The first one makes me long for the rain to stop here, so I can get out for walk.

  10. I really like the first one. You managed to get a bridge, shadows, and black and white all in one shot....good job, my friend. The second one is lovely, too. I think the bench is the highlight of that one. Beautiful work.

  11. If it were my choice - I'd have the second. It is stark and unusual.

But, as you have them both - I will take peace from the first and memory of the second.
