I've always been fascinated by train tracks but am usually not in a good spot to photograph them. I managed some quick shots this week, although I wasn't entirely satisfied with what I got. Click for the weekend in black and white.
i love it. you captured this really well. i've seen a few tracks in my time too that i would like to photograph. they make wonderful subjects. hope all is well. have a great day.
I, too, love the look of train tracks and the sense of wonder and adventure a train or hearing its whistle blow brings as it travels around the bend. Sometimes color can take away from an image. Your photo in black and white captures the imagination beautifully. Strangely enough my current post also includes a track. :)
You captured the curve and overall feel of these tracks beautifully. I love shooting them, but it takes special light to have them come out at nicely as this. Excellent photography.

NOTE - I have recently had issues where some comments don't show up in my blog but I am receiving all of them through email. The blooger hiccup seems to be fixed but I'm going to leave this note up so I don't jinx it.
