That's My World Tuesday: More from May road trip

We are still in a terrible heat wave in the North Carolina Piedmont where I live so I'm looking back to May for a visual cool down.

The shot above was taken near the North Carolina and Virginia border. The Blue Ridge mountains are living up to their name. The shot below was taken in the West Virginia mountains and the house had a whimsical feel about it that appeals to me.

The next two shots were taken at Babcock State Park in the West Virginia mountains.

I took so many picture on that short vacation that I could keep going back to my archives for ages and still not post a fraction of the photographs I took.

  4. Our lower lying mountains sometimes have a similar blue hue that I hope is not in anyway caused by the effects of pollution. It certainly looks as if the air is pure in the part of the world you are photographing. What a joy it must be to live amid the bubbling waterfall and nature sounds, Carver. :)

  12. Hi Carver,
    Long time no see! :)

Great post, you all are dealing with a heat wave and we are still trying to get summer started here in MN. I think it is finally coming on, but with constant rain...where is the sun? :)

Again, great post, thanks so much for sharing your world!

I love that house. I could SO easily live in that house!
I know what you mean about never using up all the photos in the archives, but I'll be happy to look at yours if ever you run out of new ideas.
