C is for Cancer.
C is for the Carolina.
C is for the Cancer Hospital at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill which is where all these shots were taken.
Clearly these are spring shots not browning summer ones. Click for the home of ABC Wednesday.
Great C pictures and you have captured beautiful reflections on that second shot.

It looks a lovely building - all those big windows.
ReplyDeleteI bet it feels good to look back at all that green!
ReplyDeleteI don't like cancer either Ann, but the pictures of the hospital are very good and the reflections are great.
ReplyDeleteI like your pictures for C, Carver. I like your optimism and the spring shots!!
ReplyDeleteC is for...
C is for Carver, too.
ReplyDeleteI see reflections in the first photo, too.
If people need to be hospitalized for cancer, this looks like it might be a nice place for it.

I don't like hospitals or cancer and hope you can stay for away from both!
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for their comments. For the record, I don't like cancer either but since I was treated and continue to be followed at UNC for cancer (no active disease at this point), I have a lot of photographs of their facility. As a matter of fact when going for scans or appointments I've pretended that I'm really there for a photo shoot and since during the time I've been seen there (starting in 2005) they have built a new cancer hospital, it's been fun photographing it from start to finish as well as photographing the garden being put in. I see a lot of different doctors for side effects I've had since my lymph node dissection so I don't do this just at UNC. At every doctor I see I have a collection of photographs either at their offices (usually outside) or at places I go on the way home to take photographs. I could probably do the whole alphabet just with my too many doctors, ha. Cheers, Carver
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to make such a positive thing out of your experience. Great shots.
