ABC Wednesday: D is for Dirt


Dirt so dry even rain doesn't penetrate, running off instead.

    I like the way you used the letter D.
    Our weather has been so moderate the summer we aren't suffering from the dryness like we usually have.

    We've gone from flood to waterfree in a short few months. The weather has been chaotic. Excellent pictures and narrative. Good wishes for a gentle and soaking rain.

    Somehow 'dirt' seems very different to 'earth', which we visualize as being vibrant and full of life. Water is ever the difference!

    Dirt or earth have the highest heat bearing capacity Thats why gold is usually melted in earthern pots
