
I've always liked wrought iron fences and gates.
This wrought iron fence is in front of the Imperial Building in Durham, NC.
I've read that steel has replaced iron in modern railways but iron is still sometimes found in old tracks. I don't know if the one below is iron or steel but it looks old.

The only Iron I know much about is the one I use to Iron clothes. Nice post for "I" day today.

Well Wanda, I'm with you, - I kind of like ironing, - it has a nice comforting scent as your mind wanders and everything gets smoothed out and neat and tidy.
