
Lustrous light can almost make everything look unreal.
There are some things I like about this type of lighting but it almost looks like the image was doctored in some way when it wasn't.
Light and shadows end up with lots of lines in the next shot.
The sky is lighter than the blue of the reflected light on the lake.

I, too, marvel at light and the contrast of shade, shadow and reflection it creates and that your photos so beautifully illustrate, Carver. Life IS surreal under its spell. :)

ReplyDeleteI love what the natural light does to these photos. I sometimes feel I need to add a disclaimer as well to my cloud photos -- sometimes this summer the light was very intense. (Just gray here now though).
