Beautiful pictures of wood - from the title I was expecting expected a ramble through the forest, but I'm a fan of this kind of wood too. As before, your art museum is exceptional!

Love the look and feel of wood. Great shots in the museum. Wondered about the papers? on the floor in the corner. An art exhibit or what? Just curious.
ReplyDeleteall things being equal, I prefer wood to almost anything - linoleum, carpeting...

LOVE the ceiling! Wood is so nice and warm and really interesting to look at.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy holiday and new year. I look forward to more posts in 2012.
Thanks to everyone for visiting.
ReplyDeleteTo answer questions, the museum allows photographs of the permanent collection as long as you don't use flash. The only time you can't take photos is when it's a temporary exhibit.
To answer a question about the folded paper, they are an exhibit but I've forgotten the info about them, next time I'll photograph the tag with the info so I'll remember.
Really great choices for w=wood. Nice variety too.
