SkyWatch Friday: Looking back to December of 2010


This Christmas our forecast is for rain so I thought I'd post some shots from last year at Christmastime.

It started snowing at night on Christmas day last year and the all white sky are from December 26, 2010.

Then December 27 the sky was a brilliant blue.

It was fun to have a white post Christmas last year.

  2. so special to have a white christmas. i hope the rain isn't too bad for this christmas. it was raining christmas last year here. no rain this time. although we kinda pray for some because it appears we're going to have a dry winter, which isn't good for our water supply in the summertime.

  9. It is really rainy, cold, and miserable so am thrilled you chose to share last years’ shots with us tonight. These are gorgeous. The snow on the tree against the blue sky is awesome. A lovely series. genie

  18. Wonderful photos! Your snow at the 'right' time of year makes me so nostalgic for the northern hemisphere. Christmas in 100F temps. just does not seem right somehow, neither does bottling fruit and making jam in this heat.
    Thank you for cooling me down a little with those stunning snow shots.
