The Weekend in Black and White: Another bird bath ice shot


This is the second week in a row that I've featured ice I've dumped out of my deck bird bath but it's fun for me to photograph it, especially at this stage. During colder winter weather it comes out in big blocks and requires a lot of thawing to get it out, but these early winter thin sheets have a lot more variation.

  8. You are getting to be a real pro at ice photography. This one is fabulous. Loved looking at all the little lines going every which way. Such a fascinating shot. Keep up the experimentation and good work. I really like it. Great job. genie
