The Weekend in Black and White: Ice trapped leaves

I can hear the birds discussing the weird lady that photographs the ice she knocks out of the bird bath before pouring in fresh water. Every now and then I will notice a particular bird looking at me with great impatience.

  6. I saw a little ice at our local park, but not as cool as this. I like the embedded holly leaf!

    Happy New Year!

  7. The textures you were able to capture in this shot are so nice...especially pretty in black and white. I have gotten a couple of pots with a single leaf on the broken ice and cannot wait to post them.

  9. They'd be much worst off if you didn't knock the ice out. You take very good care of your birds!
