Our World Tuesday: A mix of shots and places

Thursday morning before the rain poured down, a friend and I went for a walk at Shelley Lake in Raleigh, NC.

On Friday, the sun came out and I photographed a finch bathing on my deck.

Later that same day I had to go to Durham NC for work.

I took a bunch of pictures in Grace Garden as well as some facing the Durham Farmer's Market Pavilion and Park.

I love the sculpture that is in front of the pavilion.

I like the variety of seats in Grace Garden.

The red table and seats are in the park across the street from the garden.

Back in the garden is another sculpture I like.

The shadows were very strong when facing the sculpture in another direction.

The last shot I took Sunday night. We finally got a little snow after the first winter in a long time without any. I've missed not having any snow this winter and this is better than none at all.

  4. Awww … those little frosted daffodils pictured in your header make me think of frosted lemonade. All such pretty captures, Carver, from the animated winging birds and unique benches to the magical snow scene at night!

  17. Love the garden and the interesting sculpture and seats. The snow shots are great too, but that House Finch having a bath is a wonderful capture, it's my favorite.
