SkyWatch Friday: End of January and February begins

The sky shots I'm posting are from January 26 through February 1, 2012.

The big changes in the sky each day have become the same old thing.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that frequent changes are monotonous because that seems like a contradiction.
skywatcfmDSCN5266
Contradiction not withstanding, change has become the constant.
skywatfdDSCN5284
I enjoy the variety of clouds.
skywatfmDSCN5288
Some clouds cover the sky and almost look like mountain ranges to me.
skywatmDSCN5309
Sometimes there are just a few clouds that dance on their own.
skywatfdDSCN5326
We've had a lot of variety in the shades of blue too.
skywatfdDSCN5333
I like the layered reflections in the lake below, and the soft blue sky.
skywtafrbDSCN5358
I think the lake in the next shot looks perfect for walking across water.
skywatcfbDSCN5384
Hard to believe that we are already starting February.
skywatchfwDSCN5401
I've reached the point in my life where not only do months run together, sometimes it seems like decades fly by.
skywatchfbDSCN5436
I do think this winter is rushing past particularly quickly.
skwyatcfbwDSCN5508
The weird weather we've had is making the seasons seem all jumbled together which adds to the feeling of accelerated time.
skwyatfbDSCN5516
The sun was trying to push through in the shot below which gave the sky a satiny look.
skywatchfbwDSCN5521
Looking in a different direction I shot the sky below at the same time as the one above.
skywatfwDSCN5539
The last two shots were also shot at roughly the same time as the two above.
skywatchftDSCN5554
I guess that will be it for yet another long skywatch post.

  9. For me it's never knowing what the day will bring as this strange winter continues.
Lovely variety of sky shots from your world!
I agree it does look like you could almost walk out on the lake. :)
I feel exactly the same as you about time passing. Some days I look back and it's scary how many years have passed since something happened.
