She also sits on top of my daffodils.

My neighbor Black Jack struck a pose like a statue.

I've been seeing more mourning doves in my trees lately.

The male cardinal was hanging out on the top of my deck wall.

A female cardinal was there too.

It's definitely one of the earliest springs in terms of what's blooming in my neck of the woods.

  1. My daffodils have just started to show their yellow tips and I hope they stay that way a bit longer as it is strangely cold and windy outside my door. Funny … I have a cat that looks just like Gamma in my neighborhood that comes over to scare the birds. And one of my blogging friends has a dog named Black Jack. Of course, the dog is also entirely and beautifully black. :)

  5. cute creatures to have around the neighborhood!

and yes, it seems to be also spring is here ealier than before. it's almost as if winter never came. in NY, it only snowed one day in all of this year. just one day!

as much as I like nice weather, I kind of miss winter.

hope you are having a sweet day.

  11. The daffodils are pretty. Only in the botanical gardens do I see these trees blooming. Even my neighbors jacaranda trees failed to show off their purple flowers.

Hehehe, my cats are outdoors! But your neighbors' cats are friendly.

  14. I'm so impressed by all your blossoms. How lovely for you. We're going away next week, and I'm hoping nothing blooms here while we're gone. (It would be awfully early for this area.)
