SkyWatch Friday: The Sky on April Fool's Day

The last day of March ended with evening storms but the sun broke through on April Fool's Day.

It wouldn't have surprised me if the joke had been on us and it had rained on our museum park walk.

Fortunately April 1 ended up being a perfect day for a walk.

I already used some of the shots from this walk for my Our World post, but I had plenty more for SkyWatch.

I take so many pictures when walking here that I'm surprised I ever make it back to the car.

That night the moon shone brightly against the evening sky.

  1. Carver I'm glad that blue sky was no joke! (I'd forgotten which day it was that you went to the Museum, although I loved your other post on it, so when I saw the title of this post and that first beautiful blue sky, I was afraid you were going to show a rainstorm!) That really WAS a lovely walk and I'm so glad you take tons of pictures (and share them).

  3. Looks like the weather was playing jokes east and west all over North America on April Fool’s Day. Lol … this also could be a good case for “great minds think alike”! :)

  10. Carver...What a super walk and the sky and moon are beautiful. Maybe one day I will learn to take night shots. So far, I have not been doing so well. The sculptures are so interesting. I bet small children love running through and around them. A wonderful post. genie
