ABC Wednesday: Q is for Quartet and Quintet

Quickly I looked through my archives for quartets and quintets in nature.

Quiet mornings find mixed quintets like the 2 male and 2 female mallards plus one Canadian Goose above. Below a mallard quartet made up of three males and one female.

Next a quintet of all Canadian Geese.

    I like how the light shines on the water for these quartets and quintets in your photos. These groups really seem to be synchronized and floating in perfect harmony.
