For comparison there are many gulls on the bridge.
Certain times of the year there are zero cormorants on the piling.
Other times of the year there are always cormorants on the piling.
On the day I took the next shot there were zero clouds in the sky.
On another day there were many clouds in the sky.
In the next shot there was one great blue heron on the fish feeding station.
In the cropped version you can see zero herons on the fish feeding station.

I just love the seagulls all lined up.
ReplyDeleteI very much like your take on the word zero! This would be an understandable and fun way to teach a child about numbers. I had a different spin on the same word. :)
ReplyDeleteI also love those seagulls lined up it seems choreographed! Also, great visual lesson for the 'number' Zero.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun take on the Z! Beautiful scenic shots...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to incorporate ZERO into your post! Love your photos - I'm always trying to get good shots of bird! Have a great week and see you next round,
