This post is going to be thrown together hastily.
I took a ton of photos and haven't gone through them yet.
I randomly picked a few of the photos for this hurried post.
I couldn't believe how well the weather cooperated with us.
There was a chance of thunderstorms every day but we didn't even see any rain except a little storm we drove through on the way to the beach.
I don't mind a storm at the beach but since we weren't there for very long it was nice having such good weather.
It was hot but most of the time a nice breeze made it comfortable and the water was a good temperature.
The next shot is a gull fishing. The first shot was of pelicans and the fifth and six shots are of willets.
It was nice to get out of town and see my family at such a beautiful place.
I don't know what kind of birds are in the sea oats below.

Lovely captures Carver. Particularly loved the pics of the storks flying in formation like air craft & the group of sandpipers strolling on the beach !
ReplyDeleteYou got great shots. Love the flying birds.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that you had a chance to visit with your family in such a beautiful setting. I like the windswept grasses in the foreground giving contrast to the sea. The breeze by the water always brings such relief in the heat!
ReplyDeleteWish I had been at the beach too. It looks delightful. What a great place to meet with family!
