SkyWatch Friday: Mostly Stormy

We've had another week of mostly stormy gray skies.

I am such a broken record with this being the narrative week after week.

I did find a day with some blue and white in between the gray.

I enjoy the drama of clouds.

Wednesday it poured buckets of rain but around sunset some color came in.

It sounded like it was still raining because of all the water dripping off the trees and running out of the gutters.

I had already lowered my blinds for the night but I saw colors filtering through so I raised the blinds and couldn't believe we had a sunset. I realized it had stopped raining and all the dripping was left over from saturated trees and over flowing gutters.

    I love it when there's an unexpected beautiful sunset....it happens like that occasionally here on a rainy day. Aren't you glad you raised the blinds!!! (I am.) And your clouds are never boring, ever!!!

    I love your dramatic skies! It´s the same here. I have never before seen so dramatic skies here as we do here this summer.

    Fabulous sunset colors! I love the drama of clouds, too. I like the use of "drama" in describing cloud activity.

    I love to see those growing clouds, but I can image you've had enough of them after some time. At least the sunset was lovely and peaceful. I hope you'll have some sun now, enjoy your weekend.
