Isn't it interesting how the moon can shed some illumination even through the clouds?
I think the moon below looks like a lantern or maybe a light in a basket.
The moon below spreads it's illumination like a headlight turned on bright.
Even a slight sliver of the moon can slightly illuminate the trees.

Beautiful shots, Carver!
ReplyDeleteFantastic collection of photographs, fine views, moon is delightful. I am greeting

What radiant pictures and a lovely idea for the week.
ReplyDeleteVery illuminating and radiant.
ReplyDeleteTerrific moon shots, especially with the cloud cover.
All of your photos are amazing (putting my moon shots to shame)...the third one (I think -- anyway the one with the branches) is perfection!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the last crescent one! Oh! So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCarver ~ wonderful post and photography for ABC ~ (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteAll the moon shots are fabulous. The one I like best is the moon shining through the clouds. Very eeerie but beautiful.

"It's not the full moon that excites me, that thrills and delights me, Oh no, it's just the nearness of you"....a line from Frank Senatra's The Nearness of You, a 45 record my husband gave me 52 years ago when we were dating.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say.... I love the moon.
Great moon shots, Carver. What lens did you use?
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. To answer the question, I only have on lens on my Nikon digital camera but I can set it to a fast speed at night and I have a lot of optical zoom for shooting distant objects.
ReplyDeleteYou present them so well for the relevant themes. Differently done and pleasing too. :)
ReplyDeleteI see the moon, the moon seas me, I wish I have a camera like Carver.
ReplyDeleteI love the "lantern"
ReplyDelete:-)
Lovely shots! I especially like the sliver--so very evocative.
ReplyDeleteI love the moonlight. On brightly lit moonlight nights you see all kinds of animals that don't usually come so far abroad at night. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting take on 'I'. I love the moon. lovely pics.
