Our World Tuesday: Early November

I thought I'd show a mix of shots I took around my yard on the first 4 days of November, 2012.

The bittersweet berries are beginning to burst out.

I think the bittersweet berries look like they're sticking out their tongue.

Next is a November sky.

The next shot is the only one I didn't take from my yard. I took it at a nearby shopping area.

Last, I'll stop with some birds circling in the sky near my house.

  3. November looks pretty great in your backyard, so far. The cardinals must stay all winter. They're so sweet and still exotic to me.

  6. The berries make for an interesting shot, Carver. I like how you described them. The red bursting out of the shell also reminds me of a clown’s nose or an old-fashioned rubber handle of a bicycle horn. :)

  12. I always enjoy your cardinal shots. I wonder why the cardinals keep on coming to your yard, when it's also frequented by your neighbor cats (if I remember your past posts). The birds that used to visit our backyard has gone awol since homeless cats come visiting.

  15. Sandy, Those Cardinal shots are so vivid - their coloring against that bench is perfect. You still have plenty of fall color to enjoy there.
