Our World Tuesday: Mid November

The American Robin below was finding lots of berries to eat in the overgrown privet.

The bittersweet berries are also popular with the birds.

We continue to have a lot of rain but a few blue sky days appear most weeks.

Before long the trees will be bare as we head towards winter.

The light wasn't very good for the shot of the bluebird below.

I have been enjoying fall as I always do.

The male cardinal was feeding on berries on a variety of deck vines I have.

November is speeding along very fast.

This whole year has gone by fast for that matter.

The female cardinal below flew up in a tree as I walked out my door but with more bare branches it was easy to get a shot anyway.

I like the mix of evergreens and deciduous trees where I live.

Once the fall leaves have all dropped there will still be green from the variety of evergreen trees and bushes.

  1. That is a unique shot of the bird with a berry in its beak and the female cardinal is especially cute. With the leaves off most trees it is becoming easier to see these little creatures as they flit about and go about life unaware that their moments are being captured. :)
