SkyWatch Friday: clouds prevail

Lots of cloudy skies but I'm happy.

I was pleased with how the U.S. presidential election turned out.

I was worried that the race might be too close to call without a big hassle.

I will never forget the Gore/Bush race and fiasco with that election. I couldn't have stood something like that happening again.

I was vastly relieved that President Obama won and will serve another four years.

You may wonder what all of this has to do with the sky, not a thing. I just couldn't think of anything else to say this week and I breathed a huge sigh of relief at the presidential election results.

    thank heavens for a peaceful election. you should see how bloody elections can get in other countries.

    i remember the gore/bush election and the heartache it caused; that's why i keep voting so that will never happen again.

    you always have wonderful sky shots.

    If there had been election in Sweden I guess about 90 % had vote for Obama!
    For more years - yes!

    A wonderful election! I was so afraid as well that it would be too close to call and go on for days. Relieved that it wasn't.

    I think much of world was thrilled that the election turned out the way it did with as little hassle!! I've been amazed to hear from so many people in so many different countries that are relieved and overjoyed!! I know I am!!     As Mr. Obama has ever spent his childhood here in Indonesia, lots of people here also hope he can be the next USA president again :)
