The Weekend in Black and White: Pollen Swim

The pollen was so thick on the edge of the lake that it looks like the duck is swimming through mud.

    That almost looks like a crust of pollen it is so thick. I wonder if birds get allergies?

    I love black-and-white photography. The essential is highlighted; shadows take on new meaning. That was pollen? No wonder my doctor prescribed Zyrtec amd said, "Start taking it now, while the snow flies. It's gonna be a hell of a year for allergies."

    It's hard to believe that what you show us is pollen - it looks so thick and solid! That small white feather is a perfect touch.
