This house sits on a hill with a major highway on one side and an entrance ramp to the highway on the other side. I think it's a charming house and too bad it's located with roaring traffic on either side.
No...there is no holding back the highways. Such a beautiful homeplace. Bet it was quiet and peaceful at the time it was built. It is still a beautiful home. Love the stone wall and that wonderful front porch. genie
Oh, I love this house. My best friend used to live near a major airport, and she said she got used to the sound of the air traffic, so perhaps the people in this house are used to the sound of the traffic. I sure hope so. K

ReplyDeleteI always feel bad for people with lovely homes that end up near busy hwys or even city streets; imagine that the home pre-dated the highway.
