The Weekend in Black and White: Dourpour in Manhattan

I thought my rainy day cab ride in Manhattan provided some possibilities for black and white photography.

The people below who were cutting between cars stalled during rush hour traffic were braver than I am. I was happy that the sun came out the next day.

  2. I'm only ~2 hours from NYC, but I do not visit often enough. It's a fantastic place for photography. Nice shots and I like the skywatch ones too!

  5. Love the rain overlay on these photos! The first photo is particularly beautiful with its tonal contrasts mainly created by the female figure and umbrella on the left!

  12. I like the first one. The light perfectly picks out the mother and daughter on the left, and the raindrops glow!
