Our World Tuesday: Sunday Walk

November started off rainy but by Sunday we had a perfect fall day.

There were quite a few people taking advantage of the cool beautiful day to walk at Shelley Lake.

Gulls arrive at this lake in the winter but so far they aren't here yet.

I mostly saw ducks and geese.

The fall colors are very beautiful this time of the year.

I always love to catch the leaves at their various stages at Shelley Lake.

I think fall leaves are as beautiful on the ground as they are in the trees.

There are a lot of evergreens at this lake.

There are also a few trees that are only starting to get their fall colors.

Central NC where I live is always several weeks behind the NC mountains in terms of peak fall color.

I try to avoid people I don't know in my photographs because I don't want to be intrusive but sometimes that's impossible.

Hopefully the ones in this post with people aren't too intrusive.
