There has been a lot of motion in the sky this March.
I think the shot below looks like there's a spaceship ready to land.
I like the movement of clouds in the sky which is why I titled this post Motion in March.
We have had a mix of weather which has been my broken record comment from months, maybe years.
If I included the sky at the moment it would be pouring rain but I don't feel like showing gray and rain.
The shots I'm using for this post are from March 5, March 9 and March 10, 2014.
The shots below are all from shortly before and during sunset on March 10.
I find it amazing how quickly the sky can go from vivid blue and white to light blue to pink.
The moon was rising from the east but the rest of the shots in this sequence were shot looking towards the west.
I can see the moon rising from my kitchen window and the sunset from my bedroom window.
There was something different each time I looked.
The sky put on a big show at the end of sunset.
I loved the vivid colors at the end of the day.
At the very end of sunset the colors were softer and lighter.

My! What varieties you get!
ReplyDeleteFrom my apartment it is the same boring sight.
I am just simply amazed by the winter we have nearly traversed through. I say nearly because here in upper South Carolina we have gone from winter to spring three times...this week...it is worrisome...your photos are lovely as usual...

Apparently changeable weather makes for the best sky shots. Because y our skies are always the best. Always. But that one of the moon i rising in that cloudy sky -- framed by the tree so that it looks like the sky is in an arch -- is absolutely priceless.
